Zhiguo Xiao
Zhiguo Xiao, PhD. Dr. Xiao is an associate professor of statistics and associate chair of the Department of Statistics, School of Management, Fudan University. He is also a research fellow and associate director of the Center for Complex Decision Analysis, Fudan University, and an honorary associate professor of the Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Hong Kong. He received his BA in economics from Wuhan University, MA in Economics and PhD in Statistics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His research interests cover large scale statistical modeling and forecasting, shadow banking, and China’s international trade and industrial policy. He is the Principal Investigator of the Sino-British joint project “Shadow Banking and Chinese Economy: A Micro to Macro Framework”, and a member of the “Initiative for U.S.-China Dialogue on Global Issues” faculty research group. His research work appears frequently in decent international journals of economics, management and statistics.
