Kinda Hachem
Kinda Hachem is an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. She conducts theoretical and empirical research at the intersection of macroeconomics, monetary economics, and banking. Prior to earning a PhD in Economics from the University of Toronto, she worked as an Economist at the Bank of Canada. Her graduate research was awarded a Doctoral Fellowship from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada and a Hartle Award for outstanding policy-relevant scholarship from the Rotman Institute for International Business. She is also the recipient of a Teaching Excellence Award from the University of Toronto’s Economics Department. In 2014, she was appointed a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research.
