Wei Huang

Wei HUANG, a Peking University Boya Youth Scholar, an associate professor (tenured) of economics at the National School of Development (NSD), Peking University, a selected member of the National High-Level Youth Talent Program, the director of undergraduate teaching at NSD, and the deputy director of the Center for Healthy Aging and Development Studies. He has held positions at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), National University of Singapore (NUS), and Emory University in the United States. His research interests are primarily focused on labor economics, health economics, and public economics. Professor Huang obtained his Ph.D. in Economics from Harvard University in 2016. He has published over 40 papers in top academic journals such as Nature, REStat, AEJ-applied, JoLE, JDE, JHR, JEP, and leading domestic journals including "Economic Research Journal," "Management World," "World Economy," and "Economics Quarterly."
